2015 Cleveland Week of Wine Grand Tasting

Just a few days ago I found out I won tickets from Pairings for a Grand Tasting session at Cleveland Week of Wine happening at the Cleveland Convention Center. I love wine so I was excited to have the chance to attend! It was a nice day to head out to Cleveland- especially for being the second day of spring here in Northeast Ohio!

The Cleveland Week of Wine celebrates wine and wine making and includes fun events like the Grand Tasting I attended and various seminars on wine all  benefiting WVIZ/PBS. As part of the week-long celebration, some local restaurants and retailers (The new Heinen’s location in Downtown Cleveland hosted a Barrel Tasting) host events, benefiting their select charitable partners.

The Grand Tastings featured 80 tables from prestigious wine producers both here locally (Ferrante and Laurello), nationally, and across the globe. One lady was from Italy and she told me I could go back with her in May- I told her YES and I will work for her!

I had a great time at #CLEWOW. It was a great time to be out and about in my favorite city. I highly suggest heading out to Geneva to visit Pairings. They have many wines from the area and throughout Ohio, local goods, great food, and awesome events! Let me know if you head out this way to visit our many wineries- I’ll stop by!

Cleveland Week of Wine Signature Events are generously supported by: Cleveland Magazine, Edible Cleveland, ideastream, Northeast Ohio Media Group, Pairing’s Wine and Culinary Experience, Scene Magazine, TheWineBuzz and WMJI Magic 105.7

I would like to thank Pairing’s Wine and Culinary Experience for these tickets!

We stopped at  The Happy Dog on the Westside after too!
